This is a small demo taking advantage of some of the new features in HTML5, including CSS transitions, gradients, border-radius etc. Basically, the infographic displays seismic regions which have had an earthquake > M5.0 in the past week. Uses jQuery for ajax, event handling and DOM manipulations.
